remask
A bookmarklet that gets 1Password to offer Create Masked Email on any site: change-email pages on accounts you already have, or sign-up forms 1Password doesn't recognize. The Masked Email is saved with the right website in both 1Password and Fastmail.
Drag the button to your bookmarks bar. On iPhone or iPad, bookmark any page, then edit the bookmark and paste the copied URL as its address.
How to use it
- On the site you want a Masked Email for, click the bookmark. A registration form appears in the corner.
- Fill the password: press ⌘\ (Ctrl+\ on Windows) or use Autofill in the 1Password toolbar. For a new account, generate a password instead. Do this first, because autofill also fills your old email address.
- Click Email and choose Create Masked Email in the 1Password menu.
- Press Register, then choose Update (existing login) or Save (new login) in 1Password. Nothing is sent to the site.
- Press Copy & close, then paste the address into the site's real form.
